In short
- The free plan costs nothing and needs no cancellation.
- Cancel a paid plan at any time, with no cancellation fee. It stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Full refund if you ask within 7 days of your first payment for a plan, or of a yearly renewal.
- Approved refunds go back to your original payment method; we start them within 7 working days.
1. About this policy
This policy explains how to cancel a paid Pushix plan and when you can get your money back. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all payments made to Pushix for Pushix, whether you pay online through a payment gateway or arrange a paid plan with our team. Nothing in it limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
2. How paid plans are billed
- Paid plans are priced in Indian rupees (INR) and paid in advance, for one month or one year at a time. Current prices are on our pricing page.
- The period starts on the day your plan is activated (see our Service Delivery Policy).
- If you set up a recurring payment, the plan renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. Otherwise it ends at the end of the period, and your organization moves to the free plan.
3. Cancelling a paid plan
- The owner of the organization can cancel at any time — in the dashboard where that option is available, or by email us at info@pushix.in from the owner’s email address with the organization’s name.
- There is no cancellation fee.
- Cancelling stops future renewals. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then your organization moves to the free plan.
- Your data is not deleted when a plan ends. Your apps, subscribers and history stay. If your organization uses more than the free plan allows, the service stops until you are back within its limits or choose a paid plan again: nothing is sent (including in-app messages) and no new subscribers are added, but your existing subscribers and data are kept.
- To cancel a recurring payment mandate with your bank or UPI app as well, follow your bank’s or app’s instructions. Cancelling the mandate alone does not delete your account.
Cancelling a plan is different from deleting your account. To delete your account or organization, see the Terms of Service.
4. When you can get a refund
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| You ask within 7 days of your first payment for a paid plan (monthly or yearly) | Full refund |
| You ask within 7 days of a yearly renewal charge | Full refund of that renewal |
| You were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged after you had cancelled | Full refund of the amount charged in error |
| Your paid plan was not activated within 2 working days of a successful payment, and we cannot fix it straight away | Full refund |
| We stop offering the Service or your plan, or end your plan without you being at fault | Refund of the unused part of the period, in proportion to the days left |
| We remove a major feature of your plan, or make a change to our terms that materially harms you, and you cancel because of it | Refund of the unused part of the period |
The 7-day refund applies once per organization for each plan. After a refund the plan ends and your organization moves to the free plan.
5. When refunds are not available
- For the rest of a monthly or yearly period after the 7-day windows above — for example if you stop using the Service part-way through a month. Your plan stays active until the period ends.
- For monthly renewals, except when the charge was made in error or after you cancelled.
- When we suspend or close an account because it seriously broke our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, to the extent the law allows.
- For delays or failures of notification delivery caused by Apple, Google, browser push services or subscribers’ devices, which are outside our control (see our Service Delivery Policy).
6. How to ask for a refund
Email us at info@pushix.in from the organization owner’s email address and include:
- the name of the organization;
- the date and amount of the payment, and the payment or transaction reference;
- the reason for the request.
We acknowledge refund requests within 48 hours and tell you our decision within 7 days.
7. When you get your money back
- We start approved refunds within 7 working days of approving them.
- Refunds go to the original payment method — the same card, UPI account, bank account or wallet. If that is not possible (for example, the card has been closed), we will agree another method with you, such as a bank transfer to an account in your name.
- After we start a refund, banks and payment providers usually take 5–10 working days to credit it, depending on the method.
- If money was taken from your account but the payment failed, it is normally reversed automatically by your bank or the payment gateway within the time limits set by the Reserve Bank of India. If it is not, contact us with the transaction details.
8. Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrades take effect as soon as the payment is confirmed. We either charge the difference for the rest of your current period or start a new period; the amount is shown or confirmed to you before you pay.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of your current period. The difference for the current period is not refunded.
9. Payment problems and disputes
If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank — it is usually quicker. If a chargeback is raised, we may pause paid features until it is resolved. We will not charge you any fee for a refund.
10. Contact and complaints
For questions about this policy, email us at info@pushix.in. If you are not satisfied with how we handled a refund or cancellation, contact our Grievance Officer, Sanjit Karmakar, at sanjit@pushix.in. Consumers can also call the National Consumer Helpline on 1915 or use consumerhelpline.gov.in.
